At box.net you use to be able to google a page were you can sign up for a free box.net account. Well, I can't find it on google any more, but I still have the link so you are all in luck.
It is very easy to make an account and your uploads will be there for life.
They don't get taken down ever.

Each seperate upload has to be under 10 MB but you have 1 GB of free storage for every account that you make.
